Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition (Firefox Portable 3 for short) is a fully functional package of Firefox v3.x optimized for use on a USB key drive. The now official MozDev project has added some specially-selected optimizations to the portable version that make it perform faster and extend the life of your USB key, and has also added a specialized launcher that will allow most of your favorite extensions to work as you switch computers.

Portable Firefox and Portable Thunderbird will also work from CD-RW drives (in packet mode), ZIP drives, external hard drives, some MP3 players, flash RAM cards, and more. The apps are unofficial packages that are based on an official build, but that have been modified to make extensions portable. No warranty is expressed or implied.
